The approach is natural-first: where a natural option does the job, it leads; where a synthetic option earns its place, it is included with its trade-offs labeled plainly. No fear, no purity test.

Every claim in the guide traces to a source. It is built from CDC surveillance data, EPA registration records, and peer-reviewed entomology. Where evidence is well established, the guide says so; where a claim is still contested, it is labeled as claimed rather than established.
